Home has a new name

mojoPortal 2.3.3.4-b
MS SQL 2008
MS Windows Server 2008 R2

I have renamed HOME til "Hjem" (the Norwegian spelling).

But in the breadcrum elsewere, it sayes still Home->Om oss etc.

See www.aalesundfilatelistklubb.no for references on breadcrum "problem".

It's not a big issue, but I imagine other who wishes to use their own languages/spelling has the same problem...?

Re: Home has a new name

Hi,

It is because you have enabled "Show Home Page Crumb" in page settings.

The Home Crumb link does not know the name of the home page or anything about the page, it only knows that it is a link to the root of the site. There is nothing special about the home page that makes it a home page other than it is the root level page with the lowest sort order and therefore linking to the root of the site is the same as linking to the home page.

That label comes from a resource file.  The label could be localized, but we do not currently have resource files for Norwegian language. If you are able to create Norwegian Resource files and contribute them to the project we can include them and then your home crumb link will match your site language.

Best,

Joe

I'll try to translate it to the "nb-NO" language!

I'll do my best
