New Skins Problem

Hi, We have just installed your new version. I have copied an existing skin and renamed it for use. When I use the new skin folder any changes I make to the layout.master will not show on the pages. If I edit an existing skin all is OK. I have set the config to not cache the css but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks.

OS: server 2008

DB:sql server 2008R2

MojoPortal:2.3.8.0

Re: New Skins Problem

Are you sure you're editing the right layout.master? It should be inside \data\sites\[sitenumber]\skins\[nameofskin].

If you're editing the correct skin, login to the site in question, set the skin as the site default and then go to Administration > System Log and click the clear log button. After clicking the clear log button, if there is anything in the log, you have a problem with your layout.master (ie you have an invalid server control somewhere).

HTH,
Joe D.
