TinyMCE removing content entered in html view (2-3-7-6)

Hello again friends.

After my last update (mojoportal-2-3-7-6-mssql-net35-deploymentfiles) my website is running OK.

The only issue is that i can no longer use TinyMCE. Everything works fine for CKEditor, or FCKEditor.

But when i shwitch to MCE, the same error reported here happens:

http://www.tinymce.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=23834

I insert some text in HTML view, and when I try to save the content, the editor strips a lot of words.

In that post, they seem to have a solution, but i'm not sure what to do to solve this.

1) What folder should i keep at ClientScripts? I have 2 folders tiny_mce337 and tiny_mce347

I've tried to remove tiny_mce337, but the error persists.

Please, if anyone knows what can i do, please help.

I can use FCKeditor, but i would like to use TinyMCE again (i am used to).

BR,

Leo

Just to let you know...

Updating Webconfig to use 337 instead of 347 'solves' the problem.

So, maybe the problem is with 347?

Re: TinyMCE removing content entered in html view (2-3-7-6)

Hi Leo,

Yes, sounds like a bug in TinyMCE. I can't fix bugs in TinyMCE so if you have an older version on disk that works that is a good solution.

Another workaround is to use CKeditor in those cases where you need to add javascript into the content and then change back to TinyMCE for other editing.

Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version of TinyMCE.

Best,

Joe
