I've been attempting to make use of the feature indicated by the check box under site settings "Allow Users to Choose Editor Preference?".

Unfortunately I cant see where to make the selection once this has been enabled. The help file states that "the content editor selection will appear in their user profile" but I've been all over the profile options and even created new dummy users just in case it wasn't a backwards compat option, but no luck.

Am I missing something obvious or is it a genuine issue do you think? Just upgraded to v 2.3.7.6 from 2.3.7.0 but no luck in either.

Thanks for the quick response! You are of course absolutely right... I can see the option under 'My Account'.

I'd taken out the layout.Master's portal tags for everything other than login/logout options to keep the user options to a minimum; the site only requires a couple of content administrators and I was trying to manage the user by following from the Administration Page/MemberList/Manage Users through to the users Profile and Identity/Security tabs.

I can see that most of the Profile information is represented both ways, but this particular option isn't. I guess its more an 'assign user editor' than 'allow user to choose' this way, but would have been useful and if I've got it right it would be exactly the same function but with a different label  - worth putting in do you think?
