Event Calendar Pro: Sunday doesn't use mpcalendarweekendday

Hi Joe,

mojo 2.3.7.6, ECP 3.4.0.3

Sundays aren't using the mpcalendarweekendday class like Saturdays. It appears to only happen when an event is on Sunday.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Event Calendar Pro: Sunday doesn't use mpcalendarweekendday

Hi Joe,

Nothing changed in this regard and when I inspect the element it appears that it does in fact use that class on the td and is styled correctly. It might use a different class when it is the current day on a sunday but that would be expected.

Best,

Joe

Re: Event Calendar Pro: Sunday doesn't use mpcalendarweekendday

Hi Joe,

I've replicated the problem on the demo website ECP demo. It could've been there for a long time and I'm just noticing it.

It only happens for the td wrapping the div.eventcontainer. On Saturday, this td has a class of mpcalendarweekendday but on Sunday, this td has a class of mpcalendarday.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Event Calendar Pro: Sunday doesn't use mpcalendarweekendday

Hi Joe,

I don't really see why that matters since the square for the day is made of multiple rows and all the other rows have the color based on weekendday and the div.eventcontainer fills the other td and has its own color. In short the way it looks with events on a sunday is correct so I don't really see a problem.

Best,

Joe

Re: Event Calendar Pro: Sunday doesn't use mpcalendarweekendday

Hi Joe,

Take a look at December 18 in this screenshot.

I am rounding the corners of the events and when doing so, the background color the td shows up.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Hi Joe,

Ok, I'll log it in the tracker and look into it. Looks nice with the rounding!

Joe

Hey Joe,

Can you email me some css or post it here to make the rounding happen so I can see it easily when I try to fix it?

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe,

Here's a link to a page with the calendar and the css for it.

Thanks,

Re: Event Calendar Pro: Sunday doesn't use mpcalendarweekendday

Hi Joe,

I "fixed" it but it just makes another problem visible. When you have events that span accross days, it is done with a td that uses a colspan and that td will get the background color of whetever kind of day it starts on (ie weekend, weekday, other month, current day), so even with the fix, if you use the rounded corners you are going to see the background color of the td.

color bleed over for events that span days

I guess it will look ok for events that don't span days and the fix doesn't cause any problems when not using rounding so I guess its ok to make that change, it just won't be a perfect solution.

Best,

Joe
