Re: Invalid rendering of /Admin/SiteSettings.aspx in IE7

The following skins are affected (all the others in svn work well): centered1, IBuySpy, mojo1, mojoguidetogalaxy, samar, subblue.

Re: Invalid rendering of /Admin/SiteSettings.aspx in IE7

I will add the border, maybe that will fix the other issue for you. I'm not sure I'm seeing the same thing as you as I'm not really seeing any layout issue there. Maybe its because I'm using Windows Vista.

Re: Invalid rendering of /Admin/SiteSettings.aspx in IE7

oops I am mixing this thread up with the one about meta settings layout.

I have really lost track of the issue on this thread, which browser it is in, steps to produce. Seems like we started with an IE issue and switched to a Firefox issue.

I'm not really seeing any problem jumping out at me. Please clarify or start a new thread.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Invalid rendering of /Admin/SiteSettings.aspx in IE7

Ok, I shall repeat it.

Normally "meta settings" label is displayed alligned to left, under names of page settings.

If "allow hide main menu on pages" is set to "false" in site settings, in several skins (centered1, IBuySpy, mojo1, mojoguidetogalaxy, samar, subblue) in FireFox (I did not test IE) this label is moved to the right and displayed under page settings values.

Once more I have set the demo site (demo.mojoportal.com) to reproduce this.

Re: Invalid rendering of /Admin/SiteSettings.aspx in IE7

Hi Alexander,

I still do not think I'm seeing the same thing as you. Here is what I see on demo.mojoportal.com in Firefox:

Site Settigns:

and here is what I see in Page Settings:

I'm just not seeing any problem here, am I missing something or are you seeing something different in your browser?

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Invalid rendering of /Admin/SiteSettings.aspx in IE7

I have tested once more.

The problem is both in IE and firefox, but only with russian locale!

The thing is that the translation of "Show Child Pages Menu?:" message to russian goes into 2 lines, and in this case you can see the issue.

Please, try looking into it in russian locale.

Up.

The problem can be seen in russian locale, but also in any locale where the last label is on 2 lines (in english it's on a single line).

Here is what I see when I set my browser language to Russian using subblue skin on my own machine.

Firefox:

Re: Invalid rendering of /Admin/SiteSettings.aspx in IE7

Uncheck "Allow hiding main menu on pages" checkbox in site settings.
