Invalid operationing of Admin/PageLayout.aspx

pgsql version from /branches/joesandbox2

1. Go to Admin/PageLayout.aspx (for any page with content)
2. Add new content - it appears on the bottom of the content list.
3. Select the new content and press the "up" image - nothing happens.
4. Try again - now it works.

Re: Invalid operationing of Admin/PageLayout.aspx

This is a minor bug in my opinion, I will look into it when I have time.
Feel free to try and fix it yourself if it is more important to you, I will get to it eventually but many other higher priority work is in my queue at the moment.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Invalid operationing of Admin/PageLayout.aspx

May be it's a minor bug, but it's what I call usability of the portal. Without fixing such bugs it will remain low.

Re: Invalid operationing of Admin/PageLayout.aspx

I'm not saying it doesn't need to be fixed. I'm just saying its a matter of priority. There are many tasks that will improve the quality and popularity of mojoPortal and only 1 of me and I must keep my own counsel on prioritizing my own efforts. I have customers whose needs are higher priority than this and I have features that need to be implemented to increase popularity of the project so that I get more consulting work. These things will matter more and have more high visibility to make mojoPortal popular. I have sold my house and staked everything on making a business around mojoPortal. If I fail at this goal then I will end up back working for some corporation and not having the time to work on mojoPortal. So for me there are more important things than making sure no-one has to click more than once to move a page and I must choose carefully what I put my time in as that is my most precious resource. Yes its a bug, yes it should be fixed and I will fix it when I can get to it.

This is an open source project and others can contribute fixes to things too if they find them to be higher priority than I do.

Joe
