  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Forum Unsubscribe

Joe,

I unsubscribed from the mojoportal.com forum notifications due to the barrage of emails this morning but I am still receiving email. What is taking so long?

Hi Jesse,

I'm not sure why the unsubscribe did not work for you, it appeared that you were subscribed to a lot of individual threads rather than subscribed at the forum level. I have manually removed all the thread subscriptions connected to your user id from the db so you should not get any more. Sorry for any inconvenience. Though I am surprised to hear you got a barrage of emails this morning. I got maybe 4 or 5 total and I am subscribed to all forums. My perception is that forum post volume and related emails has been very light recently.

Thanks Joe. I received 9 emails this morning. Maybe I misused the term "barrage" but today the forums have been noisy compared to late. I would have unsubscribed from the individual threads as well but there is not an easy way to do so as far as I know.

On another note I'm sorry to say that my involvement with mojoportal will be at a minimum for the foreseeable future as I have been move on to another project. But, everyone here at work is very pleased with the mojoportal solution. Thank you again for creating such a solid and useful open source project!
