LDAP authentication and web.config

Joe doing some reading after upgrading to v2.3.5.3 with respect to the custom machine key what effect would this have against a site using LDAP?

I noted the concern in the security advisor section after the upgrade

Re: LDAP authentication and web.config

Yes, it is important to follow what the tool says even when using LDAP because we are still setting cookies for authentication and roles even when using LDAP. You can and should change the key, using LDAP, the only thing your users will notice is that they have to login again after you change the key.

Best,

Joe
