An admin menu localization display problem

When you logged in as admin there are  tabs in the bottom of page with entries like New page etc. In some languages respective words are much longer and layout is distorted. See russian locale as an example. But tabs are always a single line layout.

Re: An admin menu localization display problem

Hi Bob,

I don't really consider styling issues as bugs. The admin toolbar is strictly a skinning element, it is not a required way to show admin links. If it doesn't work well for the main language of your site then other approaches can be used for admin links in your skin. I designed it to make sure it works at 1024x768 using English, but of course I can't promise it works with longer text.

you could try setting smaller fonts or removing the icons by css if you prefer the toolbar presentation, or you can come up with some other creative way to show those links.

Best,

Joe
