Live Writer default comments

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Live Writer default comments

Not sure if I have missed a setting in Live Writer but here is what I am seeing.

  1. Default comments time = unlimited
  2. Generate a new post via live writer 
  3. Publish post via live writer
  4. Edit post via browser interface
  5. Comment duration is set to 90 days

Is this normal behavior?

2.3.4.3 MSSQL

Hi Al,

I'm not sure if that ever worked or was implemented or if it is a new thing in Live Writer/MetaweblogAPI. I've made a note to look into it, haven't used Live Writer in a long time myself, so it will be good to set it up and try it again.

Thanks for looking into this - maybe it is just something that we will have to incorporate into the workflow practice 

Off Topic a little but we deployed Live Writer and used it at a trade show recently and the performance and features of using this method of Blog editing is outstanding.
