Gravatar image caching?

Hey Joe, I was experimenting with Gravatar. I created an account and associated a picture, which now shows up properly on this forum. Then I went to Gravatar and selected a different image. The new image shows up on the My Account page profile tab, but the old image is still being used in the forum and shown as the avatar on the user profile link from the forum. Is this a bug or by design?

Thanks,

Jamie

Re: Gravatar image caching?

Hi Jamie,

The image is served directly from gravatar, it is not cached by mojoPortal anywhere. I can only guess there is some strange caching logic at Gravatar because on one machine I can see your old avatar on this thread and on another machine I see your new one on the same thread. I tried clearing the browser cache but still see the old one on  the one machine.

Best,

Joe

Re: Gravatar image caching?

Thanks Joe, clearing browser cache seems to have worked for me.
