Bugs in SQLite Version

Joe,

I've been meaning to research this myself and have not found the time. Figured it was time to let you know about it.

In the SQLite version only, the feed manager is not showing the feed content, only the links on the right. Quite possible I have a bad setting, but I am using on other sites that use SQL Server without issue.

Re: Bugs in SQLite Version

Hi David,

Are you using the same feed urls in both cases?

Are you using the latest version?

If you use a feed with no publication dates in it then you need to set the setting for "Show Posts up to this many days old" to 0

Best,

Joe

Re: Bugs in SQLite Version

I was not using the same feeds. Just tested one that I use in the SQL Server version and it worked. Guess my feed url was incorrect.

Thanks and sorry for the bad post.

Re: Bugs in SQLite Version

OK, so I am having an issue, just with specific feeds.

When I try to put in a feed that has a querystring, it is failing. Try this

http://news.google.com/news?um=1&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&q=distance+learning&cf=all&output=rss

Works as an RSS, but not showing in the feed reader.

Re: Bugs in SQLite Version

I don't think it is the query string params causing a problem. News feeds typically do not have pubdates like blog feeds, so you have to set the setting I mentioned to 0. However this only works in the latest version.

Best,

Joe
