Search does not work properly

Hi,

Using the Search button in www.mojoportal.com shows a complete white page. The url refers to ...SearchResults but the page is empty.

Jan

Re: Search does not work properly

Also, after using the send button to report this bug, I end up on a completely white page. After using refresh, the page with the send message is shown. Does this have anything to do with the https mode that I get in, when I want to send in a message?

Regards,

Jan

Re: Search does not work properly

Hi Jan,

Thanks for reporting this. Something is going on with the search, it works most of the time but sometimes it does show a blank page. I'm looking into it.

I think you may be right about the https in forums, I noticed in the email notification for your post that the url was https. I think what happens is, if you are in the forums then you click the login link it goes to https for login but doesn't correctly clear https back to http when you get back to forums. I am looking into this.

Re: Search does not work properly

I believe both of these issues are resolved in the code and on this site now. I'm going to try and make another incremental release tonight after work.

Let me know if you see any more search issues on this site, it seems to be working correctly all the time now for me. I did make some changes in the code that I think should help but I never was able to replicate the error on my dev machine.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Search does not work properly

Joe,

unfortunately this bug (or its another incarnation) still persist: if you enter "()" (without quotes) in search string and press search it will result in blank page.
