Buggy behavior in content workflow

OS: MS08

DB: MSSQL05

Mojo: 2.3.2.7

Having an issue with the Content Admin role.  When written draft content is submitted for approval, if the Content Admin role is not selected under 'Roles that can edit this page' the Content Admin does not have the option to approve the draft.  It seems odd that they can delete the content feature, or the whole page, but not be able to approve a draft change.

It's not a huge deal, as the Content Admin can just open the page security settings and add Content Admins to the 'Roles that can edit.'  But still wanted to point it out as a bug.

Also, on a related topic, Is there any config option that would allow Admins and Content Admins to edit draft content that has been submitted for approval?  I would like to give Content Admins this ability so that they don't have to send draft content back to the content author just for a misspelled word, or missing capital letter, or something like that.

Thanks for reading -

Kevin

Re: Buggy behavior in content workflow

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reporting these I will look into them, I think the first one may already be fixed in newer versions but I'll check both these scenarios and if there is an issue I'll fix it for the coming release.

Best,

Joe
