How to captcha-enable my Contact form?

Hi all!

I want to enable captcha on my site and I have a problem.

I followed this article in the documentation, and I can't make that pharagraph writes:

Then you still have to enable use of the CAPTCHA in each feature. So, for example to enable CAPTCHA in your blog, click the gear icon next to your Blog title to get to module settings for the blog. You will see a checkbox to enable ANTI-SPAM. Same thing for the Contqact Form, click the gear icon next to the title and look for the setting to enable ANTI-SPAM.

When I go to contect Form and lick the gear icon, I don't see any checkbox to enable ANTI-SPAM.

Do you have any idea how I could configure that?

Thanks all and sorry about my bad English.

Sorry I wrote it bad.

I want captcha to registration. If I see good, it is the Register.aspx page.

Re: How to captcha-enable my Contact form?

In newer versions of mojoPortal the gear icon has been replaced by a "Settings" text link next to the title of the contact form. If you click the settings you should see a checkbox option for "Enable SPAM Blocking".

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: How to captcha-enable my Contact form?

Sorry, we do not currently have captcha on the registration page. The best thing to do is go into Administration > Site Settings > Security and enable the setting to require email confirmation for registration. This will send a link to the email address and the user must click the link before he will be able to login.

However, before enabling this you should make sure sending email is working by testing the contact form. If it can send email then it will work. But if email is not working the new users will never be able to complete the registration because they won't get the email with the link.

Hope it helps,

Joe
