RSS Feed on Calendar Pro Events

There is an option on adding a new event in the event calendar pro module to not RSS feed. It seems to not matter if checked or not, all event items get fed to the RSS feed. If functioning properly, it would be great to have some events feed and some not, settable by the user on entry.

Re: RSS Feed on Calendar Pro Events

Hi Derek,

I just tested this on my machine and if I unchecked the Include In Feed before saving the event it does not show up in my feed.

Can you produce the problem on demo.mojoportal.com?

Possibly if you originally included the event in the feed and then changed it to not be in the feed it will still be there until the feed output cache expires.

Best,

Joe

Re: RSS Feed on Calendar Pro Events

I setup a feed manager on the demo site under the calander on the Calendar Pro demo page: http://demo.mojoportal.com/events.aspx

I added 2 events. One with feed enabled. One without feed checked. Both went to the feed manager.

any ideas?

Re: RSS Feed on Calendar Pro Events

Looks like a bug. I will fix it asap. Not sure why it did not happen when testing on my machine but I'll investigate.

Thanks for following up.

I'll post again when its fixed.

Best,

Joe

Re: RSS Feed on Calendar Pro Events

I've uploaded a new release of Event Calendar Pro 0.0.1.9 that fixes this RSS bug and also adds a new setting allowing you to specify the minutes increment used in the time drop down lists when creating/editing events.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: RSS Feed on Calendar Pro Events

Hi Joe,

:( Can you help me please? I have an Evento Pro Calendar but I don't know what happens, the feed does not show the events, each event is checked for being included in the feed >> http://avanet.org/Events/MonthView.aspx?pageid=7&mid=1202

I did something wrong? I forgot a config?

Thanks for you help

Re: RSS Feed on Calendar Pro Events

Hi,

The RSS feed for event Calendar Pro only includes future events, it does not include events that already happened.

Hope that helps,

Joe
