Event Calendar Pro problem

Hi, I've recently upgraded MojoPortal and Events Calendar Pro

everything works but there is a problem with the events Calendar

When I click Add Event the pages flashes up and then goes white. All I can see is the main site menu and the Mojo Menu at the top of the page.

What could be causing that?

Re: Event Calendar Pro problem

I have no idea.

I would make sure you uploaded all the files when doing the upgrade. I would try it with different machines and different browsers and see if it happens on all of them.

If you can produce the symptom on demo.mojoportal.com I will certainly investigate it.

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: Event Calendar Pro problem

I've tripled checked all the files have been uploaded but just found out that instead of disappearing the main portion of the page is shifted down so as not to appear on the screen unless I scroll down.

Re: Event Calendar Pro problem

Are you using a custom skin? Does the problem happen in other skins?

Re: Event Calendar Pro problem

I'm using the built-in jsavard-subblue. I tried out jsavard-mojoportal and styleshout-coolwater. both caused the same problem

Re: Event Calendar Pro problem

I cannot reproduce the problem. There must be something different or some other step needed to produce it. I don't know what else I can do to help.

It certainly sounds like a css bug or an html validation problem, but I can't fix something if I can't produce the problem.

Best,

Joe

Does the page html or css validate?

Re: Event Calendar Pro problem

I fixed a couple of minor validation bugs on the Event Editor page today so it will be fixed in the next release. One was in the AddThis button for RSS was missing an alt= and the other was that the time zone label was not html encoded for the &.

I don't think either of these is related to the symptom you describe, but they will be fixed soon.

Best,

Joe

Re: Event Calendar Pro problem

I just uploaded Event Calendar Pro 0.0.1.3-b which fixes the html validation errors. There was also a validation bug in the DayPilot.dll which is now fixed.

One other change is from a community request. If only using one view (ie using List View and nothing else) then the link for that view is supressed since it is the only view available and the link is not needed unless you can navigate between views.

Best,

Joe
