Windows Live ID - ReturnURL ?

I have set up a windows live id.

If i log in with my id, i return to my domain, but i am not logged in.

If i click again on login, there is a Sign Out at the windows live id, which tells me indirectly that my logon at windows live worked.

Do i have to specify a special return URL in the windows live settings, i mean at the microsoft config page?

thx

Re: Windows Live ID - ReturnURL ?

It should re-direct correctly but you must first register on the site with Windows Live id before you can sign in and your windows live account email address must not be an exisiting site user.

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: Windows Live ID - ReturnURL ?

I have logged out with my admin account.

After that i click on Register.

Then it tells me, that i have to be logged in @ windows live.

I am logged in, and there is just a Sign Out button.

I already tried logging out @ windows live and then i tried again. After pressing Sign In on that page i get same same message again with again Sign Out on it.

Re: Windows Live ID - ReturnURL ?

Hi Hefti,

The documentation was missing some information.

When you create your Windows Live Application ID on the Microsoft site, you will be asked to provide a return url. You should enter http://yoursiteroot/Secure/WindowsLiveAuthHandler.aspx or if you have an SSL certificate then use https://yoursiteroot/Secure/WindowsLiveAuthHandler.aspx

Best,

Joe
