What version of mojoPortal are you running?

Skins are not present after install

I am running on Linux with Mono 2.2, latest version, self compiled:

When the setup has finished, it seems that the site has no theme visible to me.

Looks really strange, like a print view. any idea how to fix this?

When executing the setup, i get the following errors:

Note: This page shows some information that is helpful during setup and upgrades but for security it would be best not to show any information when the system is up to date. You can disable setup and suppress all information on this page by setting DisableSetup=true in Web.config. When you need to upgrade, you can set this back to false. If you are logged in as Administrator setup will run and you will be able to see this page even if it is disabled in Web.config so you can easily leave it disabled and just login before upgrading. But if you are not logged in you will need to enable setup in Web.config.

Hi Hefti,

The skin problem is addressed in your previous thread.

The script errors you see in this thread are fixed in mojoPortal svn but not in the 2.2.8.2 release as I just found out about them yesterday. I hope to ship a fixed release very soon.

could you please rename the release file to:

mojoportal-2-2-8-2-c-pgsqlreleasefiles-for-mono_H_E_F_T_I__Y_O_U__M_U_S_T__T_A_K_E__T_H_I_S__O_N_E__F_O_R__M_O_N_O_!!!!!.zip

Hi there,

I am running the latest mojo, just downloaded from SVN, running on xp. I too get no skins. Tracing the code through it looks like the siteSettings.AllowPageSkins property is set to false rightly or wrongly?

Also the skinName variable resolves to "C:\_projects\mojoportal\Web\Data\Sites\1\skins\styleshout-coolwater\layout.master", but no such file exists though the skins\styleshout-coolwater folder does.

Any ideas?!

When you first visit the /Setup/Default.aspx page its supposed to copy the skins from /Data/skins to the new site specific folder /Data/Sites/[SiteID]/skins

It sounds like that did not complete. If all else fails you can copy them manually. Probaby want to avoid copying the .svn files so right click the /Data/skins folder and do SVN Export to some folder first to get a clean copy without any .svn files then copy them to the correct location /Data/Sites/1/skins

I deleted everything, all source and the db and tried again following the instructions more carefully and working outside the company firewall and all worked like a charm.
