Signing out of MojoPortal

This is a minor bug, but when you sign on to mojoportal, the book mark ends up covering the sign out link. I have been able to sign out, by going to site office and signing out there.

Re: Signing out of MojoPortal

When reporting style bugs, please indicate what skin you are using and what browser.

If this is a custom skin you can tweak the position of the add this button in the stylelayout.css

div.addthisbutton { }

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Signing out of MojoPortal

I forgot to do that I am using Firefox and in this case it was the mojoPortal site that I found it. I have been having some problems with Firefox, so who knows, but the problems in IE7 are just as much a problem. I think sometimes the run to fast to get new releases out and consequently have not ironed out problems. Hope this helps

Re: Signing out of MojoPortal

You are being very vague. I can only iron out problems if I know about them and can reproduce them so please be specific in telling me what steps I need to take to see the problem.

in this case it was the mojoPortal site that I found it

I don't have any idea what you are talking about, the addthis bookmarking link is a good distance from the signout link on mojoPortal.com, it does not interfere with the signout link in either Firefox or IE7. Have you tried refreshing the page in your browser? Maybe you have some old version of the css in the browser cache.

but the problems in IE7 are just as much a problem. I think sometimes the run to fast to get new releases out and consequently have not ironed out problems

Thats not a very kind assertion to imply I must be rushing things when you haven't even made clear what problems in IE7 or Firefox. I cannot address general assertions of bugs I need to know exactly what bugs and how to produce them.

I test in Firefox IE7 on XP and IE6 on XP. I'm not perfect and there may be specific style bugs in specific skins but you need to be more specific if you want me to find and fix them. I "know" of some issues in IE 6 with some skins, but in my testing with IE7 on XP I am not seeing any problems with the skins. I use Firefox most of the time as my main browser so I think I would see problems there if they exist.

Re: Signing out of MojoPortal

I am sorry about that I jumped to some conclussions that I should not have. The assertion that I made had nothing to do with you, I just thought that maybe the problem I was having may have been in my browser hence not my problem or yours. I did not intend to be unkind you take more then enough time for releases, not only that , but you answer and fix problems in a very timely manner. I am extreemly satisfied with mojoPortalo.

It turns out it was a problem with Firefox, I have the type set for the screen fairly large, when I lowered it from 18px to 15px, the problem disappeared. Again I appologize for this. If I lower the px a little more it gets completely out in the open. I went to tools on the firefox menu and then went to options and lowered the px for the page.  Thanks for being patient.

Re: Signing out of MojoPortal

No harm, no foul, no worries :-)

You should be able to increase the text size a few notches from normal without it getting too out of skew, but definitely if its ratcheted way up in size it can throw off the layout.

Best,

Joe

Re: Signing out of MojoPortal

I'm going to look into this further and see if I can make it more graceful as text size is increased. For me, on this site, in Firefox when I increase the text size the addthis button crawls into the search box. I don't know if I would go as far as to call it a bug if layouts don't look exactly right when text size is increased, but I do think its an area we can improve on. At least now I understand the cause of what you were reporting.

Best,

Joe
