Error Message when adding/editing content

I get this error when I try and edit content (like add new links content).  Is there a listing of errors that I can work through before I post in the future?

"We're sorry but a server error has occurred while trying to process your request.

The error has been logged and will be reviewed by our staff as soon as possible. It is possible that the error was just a momentary hiccup and you may wish to use the back button and try again or go back to the home page. "

Re: Error Message when adding/editing content

You can view the log at (key icon) Administration Menu > System log

or by downloading the file siteroot/Data/currentlog.config and opening with a text editor like notepad

Most likely since you are in medium trust, is you didn't configure the lucene lock file directory for the search index, as in this thread.

Hope it helps,

Joe
