Edge Broswer Error and Form Wizard Pro

I have two forms on my website that I build with Form Wizard Pro. The form works in Chrome, firefox, even my phone web browser. However every time I submit a form with Microsoft Edge browser it throws an error. in the log it shows. Only Edge has an issue it seems. Latest version of Form Wizard Pro running on MojoPortal 2.5.0.0 MSSQL

In edge I went to tools and clicked open in Internet Explorer (Edge's compability mosde I guess), the forms submits properly. It is some kind of Edge specific issue. Is there way to force IE 11 or even 10 on Edge browsers in html code? I have used them in the past on other websites so that administration controls worked properly.

I think I have narrowed it down. Can't log in with Edge either. I have Google ReCaptcha (v2) on the forms and login page. It's the only common denominator that I can find.

Google deprecated the old v1 recaptcha and something between MojoPortal's implementation and ReCaptcha seems to be causing the issue. I can't afford not to have protection on my forms and login but cannot afford to have frustrated users either.

Tried it with the built in math captcha, same thing.

Hi Allen,

I've just tested all of our captcha methods for the login page, and ReCaptcha V2 specifically for Form Wizard Pro, in Edge. Everything works fine for me. Is it possible that you've made changes to mojoPortal, or are running some JavaScript that's preventing the captcha from working? Here's some things to try:

Try doing the same configuration you have on your site, but on the mojoPortal demo website (but without exposing any private information, of course).
Check your browser console for script errors (f12 in Edge, then click the tab labeled "console" in the developer tools that pop up) whenever the captcha fails.
Try switching to a different skin, with little or no JavaScript in it (to rule out a script error entirely).
Ensure you don't have any extensions installed in Edge that might cause this issue.

in F12 no error, some warning about the error.htm page. Also no error on the servers event log, just the MJ error in the portal log.

We are running full trust, server 2012 R2, and SQL server 2008.

It bothers me that only Edge browsers are triggering the error. It's not just mystatesboro.com, same thing happens on statesbororealty.com and mygmp.com, even with the older ReCaptcha showing on the form.

Have you tried clearing all browser caches?

Allen,

I was also able to submit the form on that page in Edge. That seems to rule out any kind of server configuration issue - it must be something specific about your browser. Maybe you have an ad-block tool on your computer or extension in Edge that is causing an issue with the captcha?

i'm not sure. Don't have anything loaded on Edge. I rarely use it other than for testing websites. I will dig more into this after the hurricane Irma stuff passes, we are in South Georgia near Savannah and we are scrambling to back up clients data and other preparations just in case it gets bad. We got the full brunt of Hurricane Matthew, so folks are taking good measures this time.
