Drag and drop/multiselect file limitation?

Hi Joe, we got IE10 pushed out to our users who are heavily using the Shared Files module. They reported to me (and I confirmed), that there seems to be a limitation on the number of files that can be multiselected or dragged and dropped together for upload. They told me that when they select more than 7-8 at once, the rest are silently left off, and I was able to do just 10 at once in my own testing. This held true for Chrome as well as IE10.

Is there a string length limitation somewhere that's hurting us? Or is this a setting we can tweak? They'd like to be able to queue uploads of 35 files or more at a time.

Thanks,
Jamie

Re: Drag and drop/multiselect file limitation?

Hi Jamie,

Yes by default it is limited to 10 files at once but you can override it in user.config

<add key="SharedFiles:MaxFilesToUploadAtOnce" value="10"/>

Best,

Joe
