bug in "User that can edit content"

Today I wanted to grant a user to edit to a moudule feature, not assign a role. The "User that can edit content" drop down under the security tab displays users and selected One of them and click save. Afterwards see moudule setting>security tab> There are no user in "User that can edit content". when selected user login to site, can not edit moudule feature.

my mojoportal version is : 2.3.9.8

sorry my english is not very good.

Re: bug in "User that can edit content"

Hi,

The user selector there is kind of tricky we need to improve it but it does work if you can get it to save the user id. What I do is type the first few letters until I see the user name, then press the arrow down key to get into the dropdown and arrow down to the correct user, then tab out. You should see a user id there before you save.

We will look into making that easier to use.

Hope that helps,

Joe
