Newsletter default opt in doesn't apply when creating new users

We have a newsletter set to "Opt In new users by default?" = true

On this site, administrators are creating all user accounts rather than letting people register. We have noticed that the default opt in does not work when creating new users from the link in the Member List (http://www.mynydd-du.org.uk/Admin/ManageUsers.aspx?userId=-1)

It would be nice if this could work the same as when users register themselves (though I haven't tested whether that works!).

Re: Newsletter default opt in doesn't apply when creating new users

I have logged this in our project tracker as a request. Seems reasonable to me.

Best,

Joe
