jPlayer + jQuery Issue

Hey Joe,

This isn't exactly a mojoPortal bug, but I thought I'd let you know that the version of jPlayer included in mojoPortal uses the .die() function, which was removed from jQuery on version 1.9.

As it stands, jPlayer has not yet updated their plugin to support the newer version of jQuery, so we can't fix this by just uploading the latest version. I've successfully fixed the issue by including the jQuery Migrate Plugin in my skin, which makes .die() usable again.

You might want to include that plugin in mojoPortal, or perhaps ask the guys over at jPlayer when they might be able to fix the issue.

Hope this helps,
-Isaac

Nevermind, I found it.

For anybody else looking, you can find details here: https://www.mojoportal.com/important-skin-changes

Thanks for the foresight, Audette.

Re: jPlayer + jQuery Issue

Hi Isaac,

Thanks for letting me know.

I will fix this to make sure the compatibility plugin will be loaded automatically in places where jplayer is used until they come out with an update that is compatible with the latest jquery.

Best,

Joe
