No search box for forums on mobile device

Working on my iPad when I posted my previous bug report, I could not find a search box to see if the problem was previously reported Also I really like the option of seeing the real site when on my iPad, at the top of page please

Re: No search box for forums on mobile device

Hi,

Thanks for pointing that out, last time I looked at this site on my ipad it was using the main skin as intended but I had not used it recently and I see you are right it was using the mobile phone skin when it should use the main site skin. It is fixed now. The problem was introduced when I responded to this thread to solve a problem for Android and changed the user agent fragments used to detect phones, but apparently the iPad has the word "mobile" in its user agent string so I will have to find a different solution for Android.

Note that there is a link to view the non-mobile view under the tools tab in the mobile view, so even if I had not just fixed it there is a way to get back to the normal site view.

Thanks,

Joe
