Language Pack

Hi!

(Sorry if this is well-known, but I haven't looked into mojoPortal for a while and I cant find the info.)

I have just made a new site with 2.3.8.5

The site has Swedish content.

However, despite having Swedish set as the language in the browser, mojoPortal messages show in English, like in the contact form where it says: "Your Email Address", "Your Name", "Subjec"t and "Message" instead of these words in Swedish like it has been in previous versions. Also the admin pages are all English.

I saw when downloading 2.3.8.5 that there also is a language pack with XML, but cannot any info where to put the files.

Has this changed in 2.3.8.5 so that other languages than English has to be installed explicitly?

/Mats

Re: Language Pack

It changed a few versions ago. Extract the .resx files and copy them into the /App_GlobalResources folder

You can copy only the languages you want or copy all of them.

Best,

Joe

Re: Language Pack

Hi,

I have downloaded the languagepack.zip file because I need Hungarian (hu-HU) translations. But the *.hu.resx resource files (for example Resources.resx) contain english values.

Are real Hungarian tranlations exist for mojo portal?

Thanks,

Ákos

Re: Language Pack

Hi Ákos,

Many of the translations aren't 100% complete so they have English to fill in where we don't have the proper translation for a particular string.

Your English is very good so if you wouldn't mind helping us out with the Hungarian translation, that would be great. Information on how to do that is here.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Language Pack

Ok, I will translate the values that is required for my project, and if I have time I will translate other values.

I will send the translations to the specified e-mail address.

Thanks,

Ákos

Re: Language Pack

Hi again!

Just downloaded 2.3.8.9, but now I cannot find the languagepack on the downloads page.

Is it me gone blind or has it moved somewhere else, I cant find any information about it, or have you missed to upload it with the rest?

I thought it would be best to use the latest one supplied together with the latest and greatest version, but I guess it is possible to use an old one as well (?)

Re: Language Pack

Hi Mats,

Yes, my mistake, I forgot to upload that file, I uploaded it just now. I got sidetracked because I kept getting an error trying to upload the api documentation, its a bigger file and so far I still have not been able to upload it. I guess I got distracted with that file and forgot the language pack.

Best,

Joe
