Persistent Authentication Cookie

Hi Joe, I'm using the latest build from source as of this morning (although I think this has been in for awhile now). If you have LDAP authentication enabled, but Fallback to Database Authentication disabled, then the persistent authentication cookie setting is available to select, but is not saved (persistent auth is always disabled).

It seems to me that the persistent authentication option should be allowed always regardless of the LDAP status, but if you are trying to force that always to false in this particular case, maybe the checkbox should just be grayed out?

Thanks,
Jamie

Re: Persistent Authentication Cookie

Hi Jamie,

Can you pull the latest again and verify if it is fixed now?

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Persistent Authentication Cookie

Hey Joe, I'm sorry I didn't notice this before, but I think the "Email Addresses(es) For User Approval Notification" setting should remain ungrayed even if you're using LDAP without fallback authentication. The reason is that this now doubles as the "user registered" notification message, even if new user approval is not being used.

No rush on this change for us, but I thought you might want to add it to the queue for future changes. I did go over every other grayed out LDAP field, and I think the rest are all correct.

Re: Persistent Authentication Cookie

Thanks Jamie! This should now be fixed in the source code repository.

Best,

Joe
