multiple file upload in Shared Files

Did something happen with the new version of mojoPortal to disable uploading multiple files using the Shared Files module? It doesn't seem to be working on the demo.mojoportal.com site either.

And yes, I'm running in full trust (as is the demo site).

thanks!

Re: multiple file upload in Shared Files

No, but for several releases now we have configured it for medium trust by default for the MS SQL packages (the web app gallery requires us to do this). You just need to rename Web.config to Web.mediumtrsut.config and rename Web.fulltrust.config to Web.config and rerstore any customizations such as machine key.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: multiple file upload in Shared Files

Right, I did that, and I can upload multiple files using the File Manager (using the alternate one that supports it), but it's not working on the Shared Files module. This is the first time I'm trying to use the Shared Files module so I'm not sure if there's some other configuration I need to do. I'm doing all this in the context of an Admin user btw so it's not a permissions issue.

Other things to note: This is an update from version 2.3.7.6 on MS Sql. I am using the full trust web.config file. I don't have anything special in the user.config file.

Any ideas?

Another thing to note, Bulk Upload works for the Image Gallery module.

Re: multiple file upload in Shared Files

Ah, maybe this is the issue: It's not so much that bulk upload doesn't work, it's just that when using Firefox, you can't multi-select files from the file dialog. Everything works fine in Internet Explorer.

So, you have to select the files one at a time in Firefox, then click the Upload button and they will all be uploaded.

So I guess this isn't a bug after all :-)

Re: multiple file upload in Shared Files

It "should" work if you have Flash installed for  Firefox, but if for any reason Flash doesn't work or isn't available then you have to select them one by one.

Hope that helps,

Joe
