FCK Editor

I'm thinking of switching from FreeTextBox to FCKEditor for the Html WYSIWYG used in this project.  FreeTextBox is great but its not as free as I'd like it to be for this project.  FCKEditor is licensed under the GNU Lesser Public License and most importantly includes the source code.  It also looks plenty feature rich, I let you know how it goes with a trial.

Another solution would be to support several editors, like Rainbow with FTB and FCK or DotNetNuke 3 with HtmlEditorProviders. Concerning wysiwyg editors, there are two others which looks interesting : - Cross-Browser RTE : very simple and with no licence (http://www.kevinroth.com/rte/demo.htm). - HtmlArea : has inspired most of others editors and there is some asp.net controls in forums (http://www.htmlarea.com/)

Yes I agree it is pretty slick the way Rainbow and DNN support multiple editors. For mojoPortal I'm trying to keep things simple. I don't want to offer the user a lot of confusing choices. I just want the best free cross browser editor I can find and I'll go with it. FCK looks pretty good. Do you have a favorite? If so what do you like about it?
