Centering Controls

Hi:

My controls are not centering on the page.  I am only using the center pane. For example, if I have a simple control consisting of:

<div style="text-align: center">

<fieldset style="width: 100px;">

</fieldset>

</div>

and only use the center pane, the control is shifted all the way to the left.  I even cut and pasted the source from the page to another form in VS2010 and it looks right.

Re: Centering Controls

Hi,

text-align: center works on text, not controls.

Use firebug to find the css that making the fieldset text be left aligned. More than likely, there is a selector in your css with rule to make fieldsets use text-align: left.
