Problem with skin from Artisteer 3

Hallo...

I am helping a friend making a website with Mojo. He has made a skin i Artisteer 3 - but I can't get it to work correct in Mojoportal.

I have tryied copied tree of the skins provided with Mojoportal there have the same layout - and then copied the exported files from Artisteer in that folder.

Some of the skin works fine, but the top and the menu is not working...

you can see the site here: http://cmandrup.dk/

And how the skin should look like: http://cmandrup.dk/Data/Sites/1/skins/Mandrup/index.html

I have tryed compare the index.html file and the layout.master file - I have also make som few changes - but I can't get it to work... Can someone help me?

It's a travelpage for my cousin there are going on a trip and will like to make som blog posts for all of us left home...

Re: Problem with skin from Artisteer 3

Hi, First off, you'll need to be using Artisteer 3.1, so upgrade if that's not the case.

If you are using 3.1, are you sure you used the correct delivered Artisteer skin? It all depends on the position of your menu, header, and footer. I can't be sure what your layout is without looking at the .artx file, but from the graphic if seem like you have:

  • header outside sheet
  • menu outside sheet above header
  • footer inside sheet

I cross referenced this on the Creating Skins with Artisteer. Given this combination, you should be overlaying the artisteer31-blueonblue skin. Is that the one you used?

Re: Problem with skin from Artisteer 3

Hey Jamie

Thanks for your answar.

Yes its Artisteer 3.1 the latest version download last week.

I have tryed using artisteer31-blueonblue as my template - but now is like nothing grapic og css styles are loaded.

You can see how i looks here: http://cmandrup.dk/skin.jpg

I have only tryied change the skins for a personal one time before on another site and there did i also have some problems with it - but that did suddenly work without i knowing what make it do that.

So i am really on deep wather here!

is there some file i have to open and save again, like I have to do with some changes in web.config or user.config, so the server load the new skin?

Re: Problem with skin from Artisteer 3

I think it's going to be too difficult to troubleshoot this on the forum. If you can email me your .artx file, I'll see if I can get a skin working for you the way you want it and send it back to you.
