First, a little background:

We have certain pieces of content that we want password protected. No big deal. We don't have many users or accounts to manage. So few, in fact, that I want to "turn off" the register button on the sign in screen, so some random person who thinks they should have an account can't try signing up for one. Right now, they can "register" and successfully create an account. It doesn't really do them any good, because they don't have roles, so they can't access secure content.

Anyway, is there a way to configure the sign-in content module or the registration screen to keep anyone from being able to create a new account ? Thanks.
