Resource files for the initial content

latest mojo, MSSQL

Following this document, I create some initial content for a child site, it works good. But the page name cannot get the value from the Chinese resource file I created (myresources.zh-CN.resx), it always goes back to the default one (myresources.resx). I tried to force the culture to zh-CN in the user config and it seems no help.

Re: Resource files for the initial content

Hi Wei,

The use of resource files is kind of the legacy implementation, I don't use it anymore for my config files for the demo site. It is best to leave the ResourceFile setting blank and just put what you want in the name and title. Forcing a specific culture may not work correctly during new site creation which is when the content is created, it "might" work if you set the culture for the expected siteid of the new site but in general I think its best to not worry about resource files for that and just put the content in the config files without specifying a resourcefile name.

Best,

Joe
