Blog post order

I'm sure there must be a way to change the order of the blog, however I am blind to it in the settings and forums, anyone able to help me out with this one. Just looking to have the most recent at the top.

Re: Blog post order

Hi,

The simplest way to do this would be to change the blog post start date. Edit the blog post and then change the Start Date to a date more recent than any other post.

Re: Blog post order

Joe,

Is their another way, as in if I wanted to post about a current event, such as new year party 2012, it would seam a bit strange to have a start date of 2009.

If you have any other suggestions to keep continuity that would be great, in the mean time have a great christmas and new year (2012).

Cheers

Re: Blog post order

I'm a little confused. New posts are already shown at the top of the list in the blog. Are you using a Feed Manager to show your blog posts on another page? If so, make sure you don't have the "Sort Ascending" option checked in the Feed Manager settings.

Re: Blog post order

Joe,

Thanks I've realised what has happened. My client had created a completely new blog underneath the original blog, rather than a new entry in the existing blog.

Thanks for assisting, your comment that it should be newest first helped me look in the right direction.

Cheers
