Security Exception - System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission Request for Permission failed

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to setup a test of the mojoPortal on an IIS server, but am getting the following error.

This is on a fresh install of Windows 2003 Web Edition sp2.

Is there something specific to sp2 or perhaps the Web Edition that has extra security implications?  I also have to change the web.config to minimal security to even get this far.  Before doing that, I had security errors from the neatHTML.

The original setup.aspx seemed to have been called fine originally.  No content is being added to the log file, as a result of this error.

Thanks,

Larry.

Re: Security Exception - System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission Request for Permission failed

Hi Larry,

Sounds like your web server is configured to run in Medium Trust rather than Full Trust.

mojoPortal can be configured to run in medium trust, but if you own the machine I would change it to allow Full Trust in machine.config as some features are limited in Medium trust.

Hope it helps,

Joe
