Allowing definition lists within the faq template

Hi,

I'm using the FAQ template included with the HTML module, which simply requires your Q&A's to be a definition list with the class "faqs".

In writing some of the answers to questions in my FAQ, I'd like to be able to use the regular definition list formatting within my answers.  However, since the CSS and scripting for faqs specifies that *any* subelement which is a dl or dt should be modified with the FAQ formatting, those answers get another FAQ embedded within them when all I wanted was a definition list.

I found the CSS and modified it with the ">" operator so that the Q&A images don't show up, but that doesn't handle the scripting which hides the "answers" in my lists so that they only show when you click the definition item.  Is this something you would consider changing?

The CSS modification was to change all selectors which read ".faqs dl" and ".faqs dt" to ".faqs > dl" and ".faqs > dt".

Thanks,

Ted

Re: Allowing definition lists within the faq template

Hi Ted,

I'm open to the changes needed to support your goal as long as they don't break anything. You'll have to come up with a proposal of changes for the script though if the CSS changes are not enough to solve it. I don't have time to work on that myself right now.

Best,

Joe

No problem, I can probably do that.
