How to make a page only viewable to a specific user?

Is it possible to make a page/pages  only viewable to one specific user ? I know I can create a role, then assign the user to that role for view. The role probably is designed for a group of user, not a single user. Thanks

Yes, security is done by role, so you'll need to make a role and put the one user into it. It won't be a problem to do it that way--many of our own roles only have one or two people in them (one person plus a backup who is authorized to maintain an area of a site).

Thank you for replying.

so if there are many users, there will be many roles.

In the html module, there is a setting ( last item under the security tab) that you can select a specific user to edit the module. I was wondering whether there is something similar for a page ( for view not for edit)?
