Filter search in Calendar

Would there be any possibility of including a filter into the Calendar (or Calendar pro).

So that, just as you can with the blogs, you can set and filter on certain activities which have been set a specific tag.

An example would be if the calendar was used for a music venue and there were loads of different types of bands over a period of time a visitor to the site could filter on when all the "rock" gigs were happening or for another genre.

Any thoughts?

Re: Filter search in Calendar

Hi,

Tagging is a planned feature for Event Calendar Pro. Not sure how soon but it is definitely coming, it depends on a new Tagging sub system that will be part of mojoPortal core.

Best,

Joe

Re: Filter search in Calendar

I was looking at EC Pro this week and decided against it as I need TAGS too and the ability to set diplay order by TAG.

Will watch out for future releases.

Re: Filter search in Calendar

Any news on the Tagging sub system? I can't see it in the road map at the moment.

I am sure that there are many other priorities in development, so any indication would be nice.

Mnay thanks

Re: Filter search in Calendar

It is definitely a planned improvement for Event Calendar Pro and some other features and some work on the category/tagging sub systems has already been done in mojoPortal but I don't have an eta for when this will be ready.

Best,

Joe
