is it possible to moderate (I mean, approve before publish) blog comments?

There does not seem to be an option to moderate the comments before they are published/posted on the site, but someone with edit privileges can delete any comments after they are posted. So it is kind of moderation after the fact. I agree that an option to be able to moderate comments and approve/deny any would be a nice feature. Sounds like a good idea to post to the Feature Requests forum.

I think it is currently possible using external comment systems like IntenseDebate or Disqus. It is not currently possible with the internal comment system, but it is already on the road map to implement a new and better internal comment system, so no feature request is needed.
