Hello,
OS Windows Home Server WHS2011 MSSQL mojoPortal 2.3.6.7.
I posted my problems in the german forum on 7-29-2011 but there is no feedback. Since this time I read a lot in this forum and try to find out what my problem is.
The server is connected to the internet by the Microsoft service. The Domain is bgr-berlin.homeserver.com and I can reach the server.
My first page www.bgr-berlin.net is running well. The redirect is set to www.bgr-berlin.homeserver.com/bgr-berlin/.
Now I try to install an second one as a multi site with folder.
Under the root folder in IIS7 localhost/bgr-berlin/ I make manual a folder localhost/bgr-berlin/kultev/ for the second site (www.kultev.de) and I copy a Default.aspx in This folder. I opened it and delete the contents. The redirect is set to www.bgr-berlin.homeserver/bgr-berlin/kultev/Default.aspx . After this I make a new site by using my first site and add the folder kultev in the folder site mapping. When I open the new site in the browser I got only a white page. There are no entries in the system-log.
I hope there is a solution to my problem. An installation of two or three separate portals have been successful I get back, but then the performance drops significantly.
With best regards
Gerd
Hi,
Multiple sites based on folder names only works if the first site is a root level site, it will not work if it is in a sub folder or using a redirect from root to a sub folder.
Best,
