CDN Support for combined CSS and JS

So,

Having worked at a big internet company in the past, I have been trying to bring some of what we did to my new job's way way smaller site.

We are a very small global company, with 50% NA, 40% UK traffic.

Having used Akamai in the past i know it hard to beat there CDN, but there is no way we can justify or afford it directly.

Recently I noticed Rackwire has ? partnered ? with Akamai's CDN for there "Cloud Files" offering

http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/cloud_hosting_products/files/

and the pricing was perfect for us... ( probably under $1 a month for access to a global CDN!)

The question is, how to handle CDNs with in the mojoportal framework.

I would love the move most the combined js and css  to the cdn.

Are any ways to support CDN urls overrides for resources ?

Anythoughts?
