Ad Manager 1.0 for MojoPortal Now Available

Ad Manager 1.0, a 3rd-party module by IndigoTea for mojoPortal, is now available at the introductory price of $49.99.

This is an ad management feature created by IndigoTea for mojoPortal, and currently used by our customers.  This is a great add-on feature, and designed to be very easy for non-technical people to use.  It's flexible, so it accommodates all sizes of ad banners, buttons, and even supports animated .gif images.

Some of the other features of Ad Manager for MojoPortal:

    Start/End dates for ad
    Advertiser integration
    Click-thru tracking
    Payment history

To kick this off to a great start, we've decided to provide a special gift for anyone who buys a copy of Ad Manager 1.0 between now and July 31, 2011 - a free copy of MegaGallery for mojoPortal! MegaGallery is a JQuery-based photo album/gallery built as an alternative to the Silverlight-based image gallery that comes with mojoPortal.

It's a fully-integrated module, with great features like image and album sequencing, image cropping, customizable layout (via css), image watermarking, search-index integration, as well as friendly URLs.

This module will be released for public purchase in Sept., but purchasers of Ad Manager during the month of July will get their copy for free!

Thank you very much! Would love to see more 3rd-party products, to expand some of the capabilities of MojoPortal - after all Joe, you can only bend space-time so much to do such excellent work with MojoPortal. smiley

Re: Ad Manager 1.0 for MojoPortal Now Available

Rick,

Thanks very much!  Ad Manager 1.0 currently supports MSSQL, the native db for mojoPortal.  At this time, I'm evaluating the demand for support of other db's; until there are requests to do so, I'll most likely stick with MSSQL.

Re: Ad Manager 1.0 for MojoPortal Now Available

As a developer who has built a few mojoPortal features for my employer, you got me curious.

Based on the 847 people who has download 2.3.6.7 in the last 8 days so far the numbers are:

mssql   77.33%
sqlce     4.25%
sqllite    4.96%
pgsql     2.72%
firebird  2.72%
mysql    8.03%

So MySQL "might" be worth the effort, but that's it.

Exactly.  I think it's terrific that Joe offers all the other options, but there's room to support other db options in later iterations of Ad Manager.
