Just cought on this site.

When there are 10 messages (the message itself and 9 replies) in the forum thread, only 9 of them are shown on the first page and no link is shown to the second one. Adding another message to the same thread shows the link to the second page containing 2 messages already.

I'll look into that, I suspect it is specific to the MySQL data layer which used for this site, paging is implemented differently in the different db platforms.

Hi Alexander,

Are you able to repeatedly produce this bug?

I've tried so far on local machines with MS SQL and MySQL and forum paging was correct, it would go to 2 pages on the 10th reply.

I do not have mySql install, so I just watch this forum:

If I delete the last message, the second page (with the last message) is not shown.

ok, so deleting a post is one step I didn't try, I'll experiment more.

As far as I understand, you fixed this bug in svn.

Could you please update this site so that the error eliminates from this forum?

It hasn't been fixed yet, but I will update this site after it is fixed.

It does not happen on every thread, it only happens if posts have been deleted out of the middle of the thread. I need to add a little logic to maintain the threadsequence when that happens. I believe this bug exists in all the data layers.
