Re: The latest svn version using pgsql data layer does not compile.

I will have this fixed shortly but note that you should be using branches/2.x instead of branches/joesandbox2

I sometimes check in code to my sandbox that does not compile in all data layers but branches/2.x I try to keep stable in all data layers. If you are using branches/2.x and this happens then I made a mistake.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: The latest svn version using pgsql data layer does not compile.

Just a question then.

How actual is branches/2.x? How often do you merge your changes to this branch?

Of course, I do not want to bother you with bug reports like this one.But I also want to have the most actual version to see when the bugs I report are successfully fixed.

Re: The latest svn version using pgsql data layer does not compile.

I try to merge as often as possible, most of the time branches/2.x is in sync with my sandbox by the end of the day. I merge sometimes several times a day usually. But sometimes if I get into something new or experimental or things that require schema changes there might be a day or so where I'm not ready to merge.

btw, there is an email list if you want to get notifications of commits, it requires creating a Novell login to get on the list, but if you're interested in knowing sooner about commits its nice to get the mail.

Re: The latest svn version using pgsql data layer does not compile.

I have switched to /branches/2.x

The disadvantage is that all the SVN comments I can see are "merge changes from joesandbox2". Could you please give some more details (where possible)?
