HELP! S IT POSSIBLE TO BUILD A LEGAL CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?

Hi all,

We are a charity organization and we are looking to provide a legal case management system for the lawyers are helping us. We are looking for an open source platform, as some of our members are involved in IT and software development, they will be able to help us.

We understand that a Legal Case Management system will be difficult to find, so we were thinking to use mojoPortal as the engine.

Does anyone knows if we could build the following with mojoPortal?

- Be able to create clients (with all the info)
- Be able to create mater (with all the info)
- Be able to create tasks for the lawyers
- Be able to store documents for the tasks.

Any ideas will be more than welcome, as we have never used mojoPortal,

Thanks a lot in advance,

Gabriel

Re: HELP! S IT POSSIBLE TO BUILD A LEGAL CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?

this should be posable using a custome webform on any page with a post back script for database post

thing you need to consider you defently need ssl as its a leagle thing and personaly i would aproach this as a inline cgi page hosted in side of a page on you website and mark it with a custome member profile for you staff ... please forgive my spelling iv seen stuff like this done a bunch and its not as complacated at you think you dont need to use mojo as the direct engin just a host for the inline code and do all the prossing in the backend with a  cgi script modding the code for mojo is not nesary i would sugest joe's form Wizard pro

its flexable and should be able to make the forms you need

We have been developing customized websites based on mojoportal. if you can clearly document the requirements and detailed process flow, we could try to help you out for free building a basic  legal case management system. visit us at www.bharathosting.com for more info.
