Artisteer and menu bar not showing

Hi Guys,

Have just created my first template with Artisteer and Mojo but the menu bar styling is not showing.

Is there a setting anywhere to choose to use the Artisteer menu as I know there is in Joomla.

Kind Regards,

Jack

Re: Artisteer and menu bar not showing

If you are hosted under .NET 3.5 Medium Trust, you will need to copy the theme.skin file from your skin folder into /App_Themes/default

See the notes about problems under medium trust in the article Understanding the theme.skin file.

This is the most likely cause of the problem, unless the other Artisteer skins that ship with are working, in which case it would have to something specific about your skin.

Note that this problem does not exist under .NET 4, so using .NET 4 hosting is the best solution.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: Artisteer and menu bar not showing

Hi Joe,

Am using .NET 4 Intergrated Pipeline.

The template seems to be fine in artisteer. Is there nowhere else to set which menu to use?

Re: Artisteer and menu bar not showing

Artisteer 3.0.0.35414 Standard Edition

Created a skin from scratch and used artisteer-30headermenu

Downloaded MojoPortal today so the latest copy

Re: Artisteer and menu bar not showing

First you should upgrade to the RC 2 of Artisteer 3. Should be version 3.0.0.39952

Then you should follow the instructions about how to create a mojoPortal skin from an Artisteer template, you don't start from scratch, you start with a specific existing skin based on some criteria mentioned in the article.

Hope that helps,

Joe
