PayPal does not show business name

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

PayPal does not show business name

I have a PayPal business account and I followed the documentation to set it up in mojoPortal. Everything works well except when I click PayPay checkout and is redirected to PayPal site, it only shows my email address, not my business name. Am I missing something here?

That will be a setting on your PayPal account. I can't remember which one for sure but I know it is with PayPal and not mojoPortal.

I thought PayPal will automatically pull it up because it is a business account. I don't seem to be able to find it.

Hi,

I just checked my settings and it pulls in my business name. From within PayPal, click the Profile link and then on the left select "My Business Info" and make sure your business name is listed in the Business Information section towards the bottom.

You may also want to check the Invoice Templates section under "My Selling Tools." You can create a new invoice template with a logo which replaces your company name.

I'm glad you asked this because it got me looking at my settings and I realized that my name was set to show on credit card statements instead of my business name, oops.
